Furniture Upcycle
Learn the fundamentals of upcycling furniture using chalk paint. Identify solid timber, veneer, and laminate. Prepare and clean your piece. Apply chalk paint using a round brush. Add artistic details. Achieve a professional finish using wax or sealer.
Deb will offer advice and guidance so you can achieve the look you desire. Classes are limited to 4 people to ensure personalised attention for each participant.
You will be introduced to different techniques including textured wallpaper, embossed stencils, aging, decoupage paper, transfers and more.

What we provide

A piece of furniture. Something that is a carriable size eg coffee table, bedside table, plant stand.
Packed lunch (or buy lunch from the nearby café)
We provide aprons but it is recommended that you wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on.
